Default Xperia X1 - questions

I have one. It's new to me and I'm still figuring out the stupid creature. Can anyone please tell me how to move the contacts to the microSD card? Or perhaps use the microSD card for holding mp3 files?

Not only do I not see the microSD card on the synchronization program, I am not finding it as another device on my system when I have the phone plugged in via USB.

I can see that such a card exists. I can see that it already holds folders for storing my photos and my music. I can see that it has a folder where Sony dropped a few video files. I can NOT figure out how to automatically save anything on it, nor how to move files to it.

Does anyone know where the secret button is to do this?

I hope you have gotten your answer by now, since I just chanced upon this today. You may be able to get your answers here Click on support, or go to any geek forums where they discuss the X1.

Xperia X1 is Windows Mobile and was developed by the Redwood Shores, CA office. The Sony Ericsson phone to get nowdays is the spiffy Adroid based Xperia X10 which was recently released .Check it out The software development team for Android aps is based in Sony Ericsson's Lund location

Thanks - I have links on my bookmarks to half a dozen developer sites for this phone, plus the app store for smartphones plus a few other things.

I managed some workarounds on my own, one of which turned out to be exactly the right way to do this.

In the meantime, I still like my phone, but it's not really in much use anyway. It does what I need it to do and it saved my arse when I was in the states - managed to log into my ex's internet via my phone and do my Swedish banking when my EEE decided to hold on to a virus.

all is basically well. But thanks for the answers!
