The Amazing Race
Was filmed at GrönaLund on Saturday August first! We were there celebrating my son's birthday and we noticed people running around with big back packs on their backs and I jokingly said, gosh you'd think it was the amazing race... AND LOW AND BEHOLD... out comes the clue box, a person jumps on Tilt, comes down and screams it is at the rocket jet or whatever it was called and off they go running for the next clue!
Very fun to see it in action!

So cool! I absolutely LOVE that show!!! I remember the one some years ago where they had to go to IKEA in Kungens Kurva and build something LOL This Gröna Lund thing sounds WAY better.
Man I wish I could have seen that!!! I've always wanted to be in the right place at the right tome for an Amazing Race team to run by

Yeah, it was really cool. It is one of the few shows my husband and I watch together. I hurt my achilles tendon and have been having problems since March, but seeing them run past, I completely forgot about that pain and sprinted after. Needless to sy, my heel got all swollen later and it hurt to touch, was black and blue and I could barely walk for the next few days - but well worth seeing their excitement and talking to the camera men, etc.

I've seen a few episodes of that show. As far as I can tell it seems to be an excuse to put couples or families under sufficient pressure for them to crack and be really unpleasant to each other. Last episode I saw was a while back, in Sydney, and there was a guy being a real twat to his GF after she made a pretty minor mistake.
