I ended up making a coloring book out of them which I've started selling: Mandala You! Book One. I'm about to start the process to get in on Amazon and out to distrubutors.

The book is great for kids or adults. I've made the mandalas easy enough for kids to enjoy (my six year-old loves them), yet nice enough for adults to want to do them. I really like to get some colored pencils and a mandala to color and a cup of tea and just relax for a while.

I'm going to donate some books to schools and old folks homes.

I've also colored them in and put them on t-shirts and mugs and whatnot on Zazzle and CafePress. Mandala You! on Zazzle and Mandala You! on CafePress

I'm going to wait a bit then do book two. I plan on doing a whole series.

Okay, first a little background. I come from New Mexico and we can claim cockroaches on our tax forms as family members. I've lived in downtown Chicago and have battled with armies of roaches there in the tenements.

I lived in Mexico where they are large enough to have names, like alejandro.

I know roaches, very well.

But in my 20 plus years in my house, I've never seen one! My son just came back from a week in Greece. I asked him if he saw any roaches, but...well, you know...kids....eeeeh. He didn't see any. But for him to notice something, a roach would have to hit him upside the head and say: helloooooooooooow baby.
